Conference : “Axis of Resistance: Power, Proxy, and Provocation” with Prof. Daniel Sobelman (in English)

Dr. Daniel Sobelman will discuss asymmetric deterrence in the Middle East, focusing on Israel and pro-Iranian groups like Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. Based on his book, he’ll examine how these groups shape stronger states’ behavior through unwritten rules, and address the limits, escalation risks, and regional impact of the current conflict

Keynote speaker: Daniel Sobelman, Professor of International Relations, Hebrew University of Jerusalem

The conference will be followed by a Q&A session and refreshments.
